Reimagine What's Possible We are seeking a Quality Manager to support all aspects of quality for both Gardner and Rotoflow manufacturing businesses with a focus on Quality Management System(QMS), auditing/compliance, quality assurance(QA)/quality control(QC) of manufactured products and change management. The Quality Manager will report to the Gardner, Rotoflow and Standard Plants Solutions General Manager. In this role, you will lead a quality team of 25 to 30 union and non-union individuals including 3 to 5 direct reports supporting an overall organization of the 450-500 individuals across ten facilities globally. Gardner and Rotoflow are poised for geographic and market expansion. Therefore, our Quality programs must be robust for a growth environment and new employee hiring. Strong strategic direction setting, transformation and organizational change and influencing abilities are desired to build/implement an elite and long-term, sustainable, quality culture at all levels of the organization.

Required Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree is essential for this role.
- Experience leading and influencing quality in the manufacturing environment, with 10+ years in quality management and/or compliance.
- Ability and demonstrated track record of translating business strategies into organizational goals related to quality.
- Strategic attitude coupled with the ability to advise tactical activities and tasks.
- Experience of leading and developing teams.
- Continuous improvement and bold demeanor and maintenance of quality systems supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Must possess a high degree of integrity, interpersonal, and influence skills.
- Experience and understanding of document management systems and management of change systems.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Own the oversight of the Gardner and Rotoflow Quality Team including hiring, goal setting, development and coaching in support of all aspects of the business' quality system. The team includes individuals supporting the organization's QMS system, internal and external auditing/compliance, and quality control/quality assurance of components and finished products.
- Translate business objectives into strategic goals for the improvement of the overall quality process to drive continuous improvement, consistency and compliance to internal/external regulations, procedures, policies and specifications.
- Oversight and continuous improvement of fit for purpose quality management system (QMS) including organizational change key procedures and policies.
- Enhance and develop an innovative BMS / QMS system aligned with the specific needs of the business while also aligned with regulatory and certification requirements
- Facilitate activities and strategies related to change management that align with organizational goals and support business transformation initiatives.
- Develop and implement effective communication plans to ensure alignment, understanding, and engagement across partner groups.
- Develop and implement document control processes and procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient management of company documents while recognizing regulatory and consensus standard requirements.
- Ensure Quality Assurance(QA) and Quality Compliance (QC) policies and procedures are in place and followed. Identify and implement methods to improve overall quality and costs of finished products.
- Oversite of Quality Assurance and Quality control team within the manufacturing facilities to ensure components and end products meet required quality specifications.
- Oversight of external and internal audits to ensure compliance and maintaining of certifications. Work with leadership team and business process owners within Gardner and Rotoflow to leverage takeaways to close gaps and improve processes and products.
- Support for the implementation of regulatory standards and requirements (OSHA/ISO9001/ISO14001, ASME, PED/CE, CRN, USDOT, etc.)Review and analyze key KPIs and trends to identify areas of opportunity to improve overall quality of finished goods and reduction of warranty related claims.
- Establish strong collaborative working relationships with vital team members within Gardner & Rotoflow as well as Quality resources across the Air Products' manufacturing community.
- Assist in the integration of newly acquired locations or startups.
- Provide guidance to Standard Plants Solutions team regarding QMS and Audits.
