ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Senior Learning & Development Specialist will lead projects and initiatives that deliver learning and development solutions focused on enhancing employee skills and driving performance. This role will partner with stakeholders to develop engaging and innovative learning materials, resources, and experiences in alignment with company values and business objectives. As an LMS system administrator, this role is responsible for ensuring consistent and accurate management of learning through the organization's learning platform.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE
Instructional Design Engaging Learning
- Partner with SMEs and dept. leaders to assess learning needs.
- Develop course programs and learning paths, including eLearning and instructor-led activities, that meet defined learning needs and objectives
- Design engaging learning materials and activities that enhance retention and transfer of knowledge.
- Enhance, modify, and consolidate existing learning content and materials to ensure all remain current, accurate and relevant to the business.
- Ensure learning and development plans and activities are in conformance with regulatory requirements as applicable.
Deploy, Deliver and Evaluate Courses
- Deploy and monitor the effectiveness of learning content, and recommend improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
- May facilitate instructor-led training as needed.
- Reviews learning solutions on a regular basis to identify gaps and assess effectiveness through quantitative and qualitative analysis (e.g., needs analysis, Learning Management System reporting) and implements improvements as needed.
- Research current trends in L & D and adult learning methodologies and implement tools and best practices to elevate learning experiences.
Learning Management
- Serve as an administrator of the organization's learning management system.
- Uploads, tests, and publishes content for applicable audiences.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across learning materials.
- Maintains course catalogs, rosters, and records and generates reports.
- Troubleshoots inquiries related to learning activities, escalates to vendor or IT as needed.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline, simplify, and improve learner/participant experiences.
- Contribute to the Learning and Development SharePoint page content management.
Quality System Responsibilities
- Document product and therapy related field reports within the prescribed timelines and provide any necessary documents required to complete the investigation. Provide follow-up reporting as needed.
- Complete training requirements and competency confirmations as required for this position within the required timeline.
- Comply with applicable quality system procedures/policies and make suggestions for continuous process improvement.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in training and work experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 7 or more years of related job experience.
- Advanced level use of Articulate 360, Camtasia, and other eLearning design programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of instructional design and adult learning theory.
- Intermediate to advanced level LMS administration and management.
- Demonstrated project and program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a medical device or regulated industry preferred.

SALARY
The salary for this position is expected to be between ($104,000 - $140,600) and will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
