Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote.

This role is responsible for administering and optimizing the Workday Adaptive Planning system, including system configuration, user security assignment and management, data integration and reconcilement, building sheets and models, and providing training and support to end-users. The incumbent in this role will collaborate with Finance, Accounting and Lines of Business to understand changing business needs to translate requirements for the buildout of metrics and business rules within Adaptive, creating and updating formulas within the system and alignment of system hierarchies.



Responsibilities

    Administer the Workday Adaptive Planning system to ensure it effectively supports financial planning, forecasting and reporting needs.
  • Manage and maintain data integrations from source systems and ensure completeness and integrity, regularly monitoring data transfers, validating completeness, and identifying any discrepancies or errors in the data integration process.
  • Develop and maintain planning models and sheets, hierarchies (dimensions & attributes), allocation of costs, business rules and key metrics that drive financial performance, ensuring that models are aligned with business goals.
  • Manage and maintain user security settings to ensure users have the appropriate level of access to financial data and planning tools based on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and standardized use of Adaptive for planning and reporting.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective & efficient application configuration, which may include customizing workflows, creating models, and designing reporting templates that meet the specific needs of the business.
  • Monitor and validate deployment of additional system functionalities and upgrade releases from Workday, ensuring a successful integration with existing configurations and no-to-minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve system performance and effectiveness, which may include configuring new features, refining existing processes, or upgrading infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
  • Troubleshoot intermittent data and/or break/fix issues that affect system performance or the accuracy of data used for planning and reporting, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed to quickly resolve issues.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks related to the administration of Adaptive Planning as needed, which may include creating custom reports, assisting with training for new users, or supporting other system-related activities.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Finance, Accounting, or other applicable. (Required)

Experience

7 or more years system administration preferably with Adaptive Planning or similar planning/reporting system. (Required)

3 or more years Financial Planning & Analysis experience. (Required)

3 or more years banking or financial services experience. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • In depth knowledge of Adaptive Planning System or similar financial planning system. (Required)
  • Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in system testing and trouble shooting. (Required)
  • Excel expertise utilizing advanced formulas. (Required)
  • Extensive data analysis/reconcilement skills. (Required)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization. (Required)
  • Team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment. (Required)

Other Duties as Assigned by Manager

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Each employee of the Organization, regardless of position, is accountable for reading, understanding and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job related Compliance Programs, regulations and policies and procedures, as well as ensure that all Compliance Training assignments are completed by established due dates. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.



Pay Transparency

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all job postings regardless of state. We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $86,400.00 - $144,000.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
