Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $23.54 to $24.89 and may be commensurate with experience. The Service Technician II performs preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance at SOME-owned facilities across Washington, DC, on the Northside. Required: Some High School, at least six months of building maintenance or service technician experience Required License/Certification: Must possess and maintain a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and personal car liability insurance coverage. This is a contingency of employment. The vehicle should be safe and reliable. (Mileage will be reimbursed.) Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (40 hours per week) Expected Contributions:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Reports To: Facilities Manager Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This position may be active and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Work may be performed outside on facility grounds in heat or cold. Travel to work sites using your transportation methods. Utilize your tools for work projects and transport tools to the work site.
