Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company The Solutions Estimator is critical in supporting both sales and operations teams through providing system and equipment selection recommendations to ensure timely, competitive and compliant selections. Location: Remote role within South Carolina with occasional travel to local job sites What You Will Do: Assist sales team with correct system and equipment selection for project or proposal Advise on benefits, issues, or additional costs to different equipment selections Works with Account Managers or Field Service Engineers to estimate and provide scope of work for Solutions based control opportunities Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuation Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained Collaborates with local districts and Regional Support Team as needed during research and development phases Confirm if the selection of system/equipment meets customer, city, stage, energy, and safety requirements Research and advise on rebates and calculates impact to project proposal Coordinate with project management and operations team to assure customer satisfaction Participate in risk mitigation process Strong collaboration with other business and functional leaders within Daikin What's in it for you: The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 2-4 years of HVAC systems experience Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and parts Working knowledge of local energy and safety codes Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company paid holidays Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $28.61 - $45.67 in SC. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
