Special Education ESY Teacher - Summer 2025

The Richfield Public School District is now accepting applications for Summer Special Education ESY Teachers. This position will support students in our extended school year (ESY) programs. The elementary ESY program will be held at R-STEM, secondary and Transition Plus programs at Richfield Middle School, and early childhood special education (ECSE) at the Central Education Center.

Hours:

• ECSE: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Tuesday-Thursday only)
• Elementary: 7 a.m. - 12 p.m.
• Secondary: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Transition Plus: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Dates:

• June 17-18: Professional Development & Orientation Days (schedule to be determined)
• June 23-26 (Week 1): Monday-Thursday
• June 20-July 3 (Week 2): Monday-Thursday
• July 7-10 (Week 3): Monday-Thursday
• July 14-17 (Week 4): Monday-Thursday
• July 21-24 (Week 5): Monday-Thursday

Professional Development:
To support the summer program staff, professional development and orientation will be provided on June 17-18. Staff are expected to attend and will be compensated for this professional development/orientation day.

Requirements:

• Current MN Teaching license.

Teachers will be paid $40/hr.
