TSC is seeking a Material Planner Schedule III to support the Airborne Solutions and ISR (AISR) Division.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling production schedules and coordinates material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials to meet engineer and production requirements. Prepares work orders/purchase requisitions for the production or procurement of components or parts based on a master production schedule. Advises program management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that materials and equipment are provided to meet the program requirements.Coordinates shipping to ensure that program schedules are met. Interprets engineering change notices (ECN), oversees buy/make decisions, sets reorder points, implements dispositions affecting stock and work in progress. Monitors projects in accordance to set schedules and budgets through use of analytical reports. The position works closely with the Supply Chain, Logistics, Production and Program Management personnel. The ideal candidate will work remotely, with some travel required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5-7 years of experience
  • Demonstrate production planning principles, theories and concepts in an engineering or production environment.
  • Demonstrate experience with accounting and manufacturing systems used within a company with federal government contracts.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Demonstrate customer focus and possess excellent communication, organization, decision making and problem-solving skills within a team-based environment.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings /requirements.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of research and data collection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Team Center, Agile, Arena or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including data analysis, reporting and problem solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
