About the Role Impact you will make As an AR Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for effective feedback sharing sessions, client interactions, and generating/distributing quality domain-related reports to the leadership team. You will be impactful in increasing customer confidence and improving work processes, efficiency, and competitiveness in the Healthcare market. You'll be part of a dynamic team using cutting-edge ARO software to streamline medical claims and collections. What you will do
- Periodically monitor teams' performance and recommend performance improvement plans
- Be hands-on in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational metrics reports
- Identify trends and patterns from the generated reports and initiate action plans to resolve the AR issues
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with accuracy
- Identify and resolve queries/issues that result in delay of payment
- Provide constructive feedback, given on a consistent basis with the aim of improving the quality of work done
- Help in auditing transactions in different domains like Charge entry, Payment entry, and denial handling and provide input on client-related issues, along with valuable suggestions to improve processes or client profile instructions
- Identify and propose training needs based on audits
What you will bring
- 5+ years of proven success with healthcare insurance billing, follow-up, reimbursement and collections in a hospital or BPO vendor environment
- 1+ years of experience as a Hospital Denials Quality Analyst or demonstrated ability to meet production goals at a Rep III level
- Deep knowledge of payer rules, including how to interpret denial reasons and submit appeals
- Experience with healthcare billing/EHR systems (EPIC, Paragon, Zirmed, or similar)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology including claim types (UB-04), CPT, ICD, DRG codes, and EOB/RA
- Ability to identify and resolve complex denials and underpayment issues
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess insurance payment discrepancies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
