Job Description

What is the opportunity?

  • Provide support to the Central Funding (Repo) desk for Triparty Allocation
  • Ensure Funding requirements are satisfied for over 100 Billion USD in Triparty Portfolios

What will you do?

  • Perform daily Triparty allocation
  • Ensure timely processing of daily GCF transactions
  • Monitor Net Free Equity and Liquidity
  • Provide daily cash projections & perform daily collateral analysis
  • Research and address any overnight cash & position breaks
  • Prepare daily management reports
  • Ensure correct processing of all Triparty bookings in ICI Impact at EOD
  • Coordinate within team to accomplish required goals
  • Help to improve or enhance existing procedures and processing
  • Mentor newer staff to understand the intricacies of the business
  • Address and confirm any incoming Audit Requests
  • Provide daily customer margin analysis of Repo portfolios & process margin calls when necessary
  • Review regulatory margin reports & process margin calls on all FINRA 4210 margin deficits
  • Articulate any discrepancies and/or issues to the Front Office and Management

What do you need to succeed?

Basic Qualifications (Legislative Requirement)

  • 5 to 10 years Fixed Income experience in Operations/Settlements
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of Triparty Repo allocation process
  • Knowledge of Repo Margin Call process
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Experience using/writing Macros
  • Solid experience using ADP/BPS, APEX & ICI processing systems
  • Knowledge of settlements via BONY, DTC & GSCC
  • Experience using Bony Access Edge and JPM Markets

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented / organized and results driven
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Suggested Qualifications:

  • Experience running projects and coordinating with different groups
  • Experience documenting and updating standing procedures

The expected salary range for this particular position is $85,000 - $95,000 USD, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
