Job Summary: Under the direction of the Steam and Power Plant V or Steam and Power Plant IV engineer, perform work typical of the trade of Steam and Power Plant III engineer.Job Description:

Minimal Qualifications: 1) High school diploma or equivalent. 2) Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience in the maintenance and operation of steam and power plant equipment. 3) One (1) year (12 months) of work experience in a position comparable to the Steam and Power Plant II. 4) City of Chicago Stationary Engineers License (REQUIRED) Departmental Preferences:
Hours: Hours may vary depending on departmental needs. This position requires a background check.
