Job Summary

Maintains accountability for managing software/data needs and technical services for area of accountability. Performs the initial analysis of data, develops customized reports to facilitate meaningful interpretation of the data and provides education support to users.

Essential Functions
  • Development:
    * Develops and executes system set-up, design, testing, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
    * Creates database queries and reports.
    * Automates manual processes.
    * Participates in projects and software upgrades.
    * Collaborates with others to develop reporting tools and anticipate the future information requirements of the organization.
    * Adheres to change control and compliance requirements.

  • Support:
    * Provides leadership to team members during the execution of data maintenance tasks and process improvement projects in support of quality initiatives.
    * Assists with data maintenance tasks.
    * Provides technical expertise in problem solving with software vendors.
    * Assists in the coordination and management of software access and licensing agreements.
    * Audits queries written by co-workers as needed.
    * Resolves issues produced by reporting tools and applications.
    * Accurately prepares periodic reports.
    * Recognizes all potential users of information, applications, or reports, and facilitates communication of information sharing as appropriate.

  • Analysis:
    * Solves problems and documents root cause and solution.
    * Analyzes/audits reports and system to verify accuracy.
    * Maintains broad understanding of health insurance.

  • Training:
    * Develops and maintains guidelines for consistent data entry into the Credentialing system.
    * Cultivates technical reporting skills in end users.
    * Trains team members and provides constructive feedback.

Required

  • Associate's Degree related field

Preferred

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree related field
