Linux System Administrator

BigBear.ai is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to a fast-paced team of system administrators providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of InformationTechnology (IT) systems for critical enterprise applications.

This position will report on site to Annapolis Junction, MD and requires a TS/SCI w/poly.

• Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client, server, storage, network devices, Etc.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs and loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  
  

• An Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• A bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience as a system administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity is required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree fifteen (15) years of experience required.
• In depth Linux experience.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting languages.
• Experience with system hardening.
• Experience working with ISSOs for system compliance.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I is required.
• Experience with Linux, AWS, Atlassian Tool Suite

• Familiarity with Big Fix
  Familiarity with Ansible
