Position Summary: The Machine Maintenance Coordinator will serve as the primary point person to the site organization for maintenance repairs and work status. They will focus on maximizing efficiency of the maintenance workflow to achieve completion of work in the minimum time needed, and with quality work results. They must work well with other trades, disciplines, facilities personnel, and always keep in mind that our goal is to support manufacturing, production, and all other internal customers. Working both independently and in a team environment, the Machine Maintenance Coordinator will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Provide weekly and monthly reports to department Manager and machining support.
*Conduct yearly review of preventative maintenance schedules and identify variance between the sites.
*Identify trends with equipment, workload, and other related department constraints.
*Audit work orders in CMMS.
*Review, update, and maintain equipment lists.
*Create and maintain reports, metrics and KPI's related to machine maintenance performed, and scheduled and unscheduled downtime.
*Maintain and produce documentation related to all machinery for preventative maintenance and repair. Use this documentation to develop records for machine maintenance and repair histories.
*Request quotes from multiple vendors to ensure we are receiving the best pricing. Submit for work proposal bids utilizing SIG capital requirements.
*Submit capital requests and requisitions for maintenance capital projects.
*Administer inventory database within the CMMS.
*Work with the Sourcing and Parts Coordinator to inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
*Monitor pricing and utilize strategies for cost savings when feasible.
*Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
*Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
*Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education/Experience & Skills:
*High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred, and a minimum of three (3) years' previous work experience in a maintenance administrative role.
*Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally, maintaining successful relationships.
*Must have experience working with and creating technical maintenance procedures with planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, and coordinating the work of skilled tradesmen.
*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe acrobat and has working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle. Must have experience with computer-based maintenance management systems, CMMS (eMaintenance). Possesses a basic understanding of project management software, such as MS Projects or Monday.com.
*Ability to understand, modify and create technical drawings.
*Adaptable to shifting workload.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate technical terms clearly, concisely, accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and inwritten form.
*Always work as part of a team.
*Must be able to work on several project at a time, to meet the needs of a rapidly changing environment.
*Capacity to enhance and maintain cooperative working relationships between Maintenance team members, production employees, plant management, and Engineering.
Working Conditions:
*Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
*This position may require standing for long periods of time, working frequently on ladders, scaffolds and lifts, working in dusty, dirty, hot or wet conditions and possibly confined spaces. Work can include being outside or on rooftops during inclement weather conditions.
*Shifts are 8, 10, and 12 hours.
*The duties of this job normally require exposure to a typical manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, sitting, stooping/squatting, walking, and stair climbing can be expected along with frequent lifting and/or moving of tooling, parts containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
*Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel frequently at a minimum of 50% of the shift, as well as undergo repetitive wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder, and ankle motions.
*Must demonstrate proficient fine motor skills, ability to grip, reach, pull, turn, and use tools to torque fixtures in various machinery or in the assembly, machining, or testing of parts.
*Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral and depth perception, and the ability to focus on fine print.
*Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
*Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
*Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
