Work Shift: Grave Pay Type: Hourly Hourly Rate (if applicable): $25.65 Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): N/A JOB OVERVIEW: The Powered Industrial Lift Operator operates a forklift to move supplies, equipment, raw materials, and finished goods to and from various processes throughout a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. Performs material movement transactions by scanning and interfacing with the inventory management system. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate a forklift according to established safety standards while meeting quality requirements and production targets. Complete pre-operational inspections to ensure lift is safe to drive and will perform reliably. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard work to uphold the high-quality production of goods. Actively communicate with fellow team members to solve problems and engage in continuous improvement. Understand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to make critical operating decisions to achieve company and department goals. Perform equipment cleaning, floor housekeeping, and sanitation tasks for sustained operations. Efficiently navigate within software applications to perform inventory transactions, record data, and monitor key processes and production flows. WHAT YOU NEED Minimum qualifications High school diploma or GED Work overtime; occasionally flex hours Forklift license and/or pass a certification course Able to lift 50 pounds Preferred qualifications Previous experience in food manufacturing At least 1 year industrial lift operating experience WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions.
