Position Description
As a Sr. Technical Infrastructure Analyst, your role will be to partner with business liaisons to translate hardware and software requirements into technical specifications and partners with software developers, network engineers and IT Testing Analysts to develop logical technical processes and technical solutions. #LI-LB1 #LI-Hybrid
You will do this by:
Identifying, creating and facilitating technical and process design changes by conducting analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on cost and quality improvement; system availability, security, data reliability; re-engineering processes and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes and partnering with business to ensure solutions provided meet long-term business strategies Creating technical specifications and processes using structured analysis and data and technology modeling techniques (e.g. infrastructure diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams) Gathering and defining infrastructure technical, usability, reliability, and performance requirements in partnership with users for the implementation and enhancement of infrastructure and cloud systems. Building and leveraging standards to streamline infrastructure operations. Participating in system and user acceptance testing efforts Documenting resolutions, test plans, recommending courses of action, and following through on project requirements, designs and enhancements Identifying long and short term opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall system health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency Building standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for infrastructure management partners and network engineering teams Leading business liaisons in the evaluation of cost-benefit and ROI analyses, and budget planning Participating in and lead technical design activities, such as workshops and interviews, to gather information and create shared understanding between business and IT teams Analyzing and evaluating cloud systems to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions Coordinating with systems, network, and database administrators to implement application or system design specifications across multiple platforms Leading and managing cloud migration and implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget Creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules - Conducting regular project status meetings and providing updates to management and stakeholders
Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues Managing project budgets and resource allocation

- Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
- Ability to partner with technical analysts, network and software engineers and quality analysts to identify course of resolutions

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience
