ABOUT THE JOB: The primary focus of this position is to apply principles of accountancy to prepare and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Primary Responsibilities: Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as, general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions, and completed corresponding reconciliations Prepares and analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, capital, income and expenses Prepares and completes month-end close processing ensuring that all deadlines are met in accordance with the established closing dates Prepare monthly statement of cash flows Prepare consolidated financial statements Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports Communicates and coordinates with both internal and external auditors and satisfies their requests for information in a timely manner Other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of the job Equipment Used and Responsibility: Computer, telephone and electronic office equipment MS Office Suite FCCS SAP EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting required CPA or relevant experience is preferred 5 years' experience with month-end close processing required Strong analytical thinking Experience with self-insurance reserves/accruals and roll forwards preferred Advanced knowledge in Excel and Access Communicate clearly: both verbal and written Disclaimer: This posting describes the general nature and level of work performed and does not represent an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
