The College of Business (COB) at Alfred University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Healthcare Planning and Management beginning Fall 2025. Our AACSBInternational accredited college provides a vibrant undergraduate business program offering majors/minors in various business disciplines including healthcare planning & management. The healthcare planning & management (HLPM) curriculum prepares the students to be leaders in their fields, along with our growing MBA HLPM program. The university values excellence in teaching, the development of students as individuals and offers opportunities in our online instructional programs at the graduate level. Interactive student clubs, student-run businesses, and a unique paid applied experience (APEX) program provide opportunities for active learning.

We are seeking a candidate who is teaching oriented with an established or emerging record of successful research publications who can ideally fulfill AACSB Scholarly Academic qualifications. We prefer a candidate with a Ph.D. in Management, Healthcare or related field; and will consider an experienced practitioner with a master's degree who can conduct research as well as teach. Teaching will include undergraduate and MBA courses in Healthcare Policy, Public Health, Healthcare Delivery System, and Power & Politics in Healthcare. As the leader of the Healthcare program, we seek someone who can continue to expand the growing programs at the undergraduate and MBA levels.

Salary: $74,000-80,000, annually
