QC Analyst I

As a QC Analyst I, supporting our QC Analysis and Test Service Team, you will be responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements at our ASPEX Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform routine analysis of raw materials, packaging components, complaints, investigations per schedule and per standards/SOPs.
• Training of/use of analytical techniques for finished product particulate testing.
• Use of laboratory equipment (Including, but not limited to HIAC, FTIR, and Microscopes).
• Collect, calculate, and interpret test results.
• Enter and report test results.
• Take ownership and execute revisions for SOPs and ATPs related to testing programs, laboratory operations and/or equipment operation.
• Perform investigative testing to support laboratory investigations.
• Conduct peer review of data collected by co-workers.
• Train analysts on internal procedures and test method.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
