2739-990 GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE: Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction. Ensures rational distribution and delivery according to analysis report and tracking records. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION: * Oversee the port operations for Dole Purchasing and Dole Sales Team for issues related to damaged or missing inventory, railroad deliveries, and issues with loads scheduled. * Team leader for third party vendor employees for warehouse labor, power equipment drivers for the loading and unloading of goods and services. * Create daily reports pertaining to paper production and yard operations statistics. * Develop daily spreadsheets updating and compiling data to track operations progress and management guidance for inventory. * Collaborate with vendors such as the railcar company to confirm operations truck loads timely delivery. * Maintain accurate inventory of paper production and vessel loading schedules are following the company's established quality and safety standards.
Required Skills
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: * Functional knowledge of Container Terminal or Maritime facility, and Warehouse Operations. Fluency in Spanish preferred. * Knowledge or competent Tranship, Mainsail, and D365 COMPETENCIES: Proficient MS Office (Word Excel, PP) Presentation Skills Problem Solving CORE COMPETENCIES: * Creative thinking * Working under pressure to meet deadlines. * Results oriented * Teamwork Required Experience
