Director, Talent Acquisition and Recruitment

Description
The Director of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment will plan, develop, and direct the recruitment process and overall strategy. This is a hands-on senior position that requires an individual who has a solid understanding of hiring and HR compliance. The Director must have the ability to interact with all levels of managerial staff, understand the current and future workforce needs, and determine the strategic direction and objectives of the recruitment department. The director of talent acquisition evaluates the recruiting function, strategies and procedures, and finds opportunities for improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and manage a full cycle recruiting process
  • Develop and own the overall talent recruitment strategy from beginning to end, from attracting talent to our onboarding experience
  • Improve our recruiting practices
  • Understand that filling positions quickly with high quality candidates is a critical function for the company and drive that process
  • Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels including external network, job boards, networking events, and internal referrals to provide high quality candidates for open positions
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HRBP's to understand their hiring needs and goals
  • Provide insight to hiring managers regarding salary expectations for hiring needs
  • Prepare full recruiting packages for hiring managers that include interview questions and guidance.
  • Interface with other departments to coordinate onboarding process
  • Develop and maintain strong internal customer and candidate relationships
  • Maintain applicant tracking system with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing
  • Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes.
  • Define clear measurables and KPI's for the TA team and onboarding experience
  • Maintain and distribute relevant data regarding all recruiting and other HR activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:



  • 10+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • 5 years of managing HR or recruiting staff
  • AA in Human Resources or related field (BS preferred)
  • In depth knowledge of federal HR compliance
  • ATS experience
  • Excellent relationship building and client services focused
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Flexible, versatile, and works well under pressure
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements

The position requires regular travel including overnights by ground and/or air transportation.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

COMPENSATION: $125,000 - $180,000

Lewis Services regularly evaluates our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. Starting pay will be based on a candidate's experience, skills and education.
