SUMMARY:

Dawson is currently seeking applicants to fill our Provider position primarily located in Starke, FL at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center (CBJTC) in support of the Medical Case Management Services and throughout the State of Florida in support of the Medical Readiness Services for the Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide clinical case management services, to include assessment, intervention plan, referral, and monitoring of clinical progress.
  • Consult with supervisors/commanders regarding duty limiting conditions, when applicable.
  • Validate Service Member responses to the health assessment tools, provide health promotion counseling, and obtain additional information related to positive responses.
  • Review positive urinalysis drug test results as determined by the Army Substance Abuse Program.
  • Review medical documentation for recommendation and approval of Temporary and Permanent profiles.
  • Review case status at case review meetings as designated by the government.
  • Review and update medical records on DoD designated forms to include original PHA documents and memorandum.
  • Maintain a management reporting system to include a log of all correspondence with Service Members.
  • Conduct immunization mission, as needed.
  • Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
  • Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using the Military module(s).
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities including professional verbal and written communication skills, flexibility to prioritize complex situations, decision-making skills, and professional development through participation in continuing education and professional organizations.
  • Safeguard all patient information.
  • Ensures all actions are in compliance with HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulations.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Active PA, MD, DO or NP license in the state, without restrictions
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • A valid US driver's license
  • Knowledge of common assessment tools used by medical/dental professionals to complete evaluations
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with difficult clientele face to face, via email, and on the telephone
  • Shall have the ability to work independently without supervision and also as part of a team
  • Personal Computer (PC) proficiency, specifically Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
  • Ability to work for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Must submit no less than two professional references with a resume


Preferred Qualifications



  • Working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment
  • Experience working in a Military setting
  • Previous Common Access Card (CAC) holder
