This position is responsible for leading value generation, sourcing, and profitability improvement initiatives to optimize indirect and corporate spend. Close interaction and coordination with internal partners and external suppliers is required. Success will be measured on spend addressed, savings achieved, and working capital impact. The central challenge of the position is to capture value from indirect spend categories while meeting key business objectives such as service, quality, timing, and security of supply. The successful candidate will be expected to lead strategic sourcing efforts for not only marketing categories, benefits that include health, dental and vision, legal and EHS that will include the development and execution of category strategies, management of key supplier relationships, significant-spend deals and alignment with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Expertise is essential in negotiating large-scale outsourcing solutions for both marketing, complex media buys (including performance-based), benefits, legal suppliers and EHS and managing diverse agency relationships (creative, research, PR). Success in this role requires effectively managing complex supplier purchases, adapting to rapidly changing business needs, and consistently delivering substantial value through strategic partnerships. The position may be based inNorthville, MIand reports directly to the Director, Global Business Servicesof the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements Education:Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related field. MBA or other advance degree preferred Experience:Minimum 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on marketing, benefits, legal, EHS. Skills
