Summary:

In this role, you will design and implement standards and procedures for platform validation and maintain data integrity through the data lifecycle. This includes the design, implementation, and maintenance of the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation, and load data functions.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in designing and implementing ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
* Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data processing and transformation.
* Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure accuracy and performance.
* Optimize SQL queries and database structures for better performance and efficiency and Implement indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques.
* Assist in designing and maintaining data warehouse models (e.g., star and snowflake schemas). Work with fact and dimension tables to support analytical reporting.
* Apply cloud-based data engineering tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL MI, Microsoft Fabric etc.,
* Maintain detailed documentation of ETL workflows, database schemas, and data models.

Qualifications:
* Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
* 2 or more years of relevant software development experience required.
* 2 or more years of relevant in-depth experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL is required, including Data Definition Language (DDL), Data Manipulation Language (DML), Performance Tuning, Indexing.
* 2 or more years of relevant experience designing, building, and supporting ETL/SSIS processes is required.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies is required.
* Experience in cloud technologies, like Azure SQL, Azure SQL MI, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory is preferred, but not required.
* Experience working with Data Warehouses is preferred.
* Knowledge or experience working with Java, Python or .Net is a plus.
