The Global Materials Manager - Valves will oversee material management, fulfillment and logistics of all valve sites.

As a Global Materials Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the wing-to-wing material management processes such as Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), CyberPlan, and Demand.
  • Leading the Valves logistics team in overseeing the wing-to-wing logistics supply chain.
  • Identifying lead time and cost improvement opportunities and implementing by leveraging data analytics, lean, systems, and prior experience.
  • Leading the global S&OP process to ensure that the Valves sites and the procurement team have clear visibility of future workloads to run strategic initiatives on capacity, manufacturing workload allocation, lead time reduction and deflation.
  • Leading supply chain global initiatives on lead time reduction, on-time delivery (OTD) improvement and inventory turn improvement.
  • Playing a proactive role in coordinating cross-functional teams such as engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and project management to identify problems and provide solutions for any issues which may affect OTD & inventory turn performance.
  • Leading the global planning team in working with global buyers to maximize global vendors' OTD.
  • Managing master planning, material processes and systems, preparing and updating production schedules and purchasing needs.
  • Conducting frequent interactions on a strategic level due to complex long term planning activities and/or complex long-term sales processes with high degrees of customization.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Possess 10+ years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution.
  • Have an understanding of various control valve technologies and be able to apply this knowledge to select the proper equipment for the industry or market.
  • Be able to work in a cross functional environment with high level exposure
