Responsibilities

We are seeking an Aircraft Integration Lead Engineer to manage aircraft modifications and system integration on two highly modified business jet aircraft. The aircraft are equipped with RF/IR/EO sensors and systems to support flight test efforts across a range of DoD portfolios. Modifications occur primarily on Hanscom AFB. Testing occurs both in the local area around Hanscom AFB and at DoD test ranges across the CONUS and occasionally OCONUS.

Responsibilities include be may not be limited to:
* Design, analyze, coordinate, and manage aircraft modifications adding new mission systems and sensors required to support research and mission objectives
* Leads development, integration, and sustainment of mission support infrastructure onboard the aircraft
* Manages aircraft mission systems configuration control program
* Coordinates with related government organizations, program planning, meeting preparation, presentation production, and active participation in critical program junctures such as Design Reviews, Safety Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Data Release Reviews


Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years aircraft modification and mechanical engineering experience
  • Experience with SolidWorks CAD modeling
  • Experience with radar frequency (RF) and electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) sensor integration
  • Experience with aircraft configuration control processes

Desired:

  • 10 years experience in aircraft modification, design, and analysis
  • Experience with Linux Ubuntu

Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering required. Master's degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Aeronautical engineering highly desired.

Travel:
Travel up to 10% may be required for this position.

Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret clearance required. Must be able to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Active Top Secret clearance highly desired.

U.S. Citizenship is required
