Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Responsibilities: 1. Gas System Management:Oversee the setup, test, and maintenance of gas delivery systems used in semiconductor manufacturing processes. This includes a. Assembly of gas lines, manifolds and compressor equipment. b. Leak checking and testing for cleanliness of these assemblies c. Maintenance on these assemblies, especially gas holder and compressor equipment d. Handling of pressure gas cylinders 2. Vacuum Systems:Test and troubleshoot vacuum systems and pumps. 3. Control Systems:Assemble, test, and troubleshoot PLC and other control systems, including both electrical and software components. This includes cables, connectors, DIN-Rail electrical or electronic assemblies. 4. Reliability:Demonstrate reliability and consistency in performing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines. 5. Cleanroom work: Work in a cleanroom environment, prevent contamination of parts by using proper technique. Qualifications: 1. Education/Experience:You hold a Technical Certificate, AS degree, military technical training experience, or equivalent vocational training in a technical discipline or a minimum of 10 years of related experience. 2. Technical Skills:Proficiency in handling inert gas systems, vacuum systems, and control systems (PLC, electrical, and software). 3. Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. 4. Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5. Software Proficiency:Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting. 6. Travel:up to 25% international travel 7. Shift work: You are able to occasionally perform shift work/and or work on weekends 8. Mechanical Skills: Lift 40 pounds, demonstrate basic knowledge of the use of hand tools, follow directions and instructions.
