Senior Engineering Technician

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Schedule: Day Shift

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research, build prototypes, and inspect electronic products.
• Troubleshoot, assemble, install, and repair electronic components and PCBAs.
• Perform hand soldering of fine-pitch surface mount components (IPC-A-610 & IPC-A-620 preferred).
• Interpret wiring diagrams, circuit schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Use test equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Manage inventory control for electronic components and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and diagnostic PC software; PCB layout experience a plus.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree with 5 years of experience or 7+ years of hands-on experience in electronics work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, computer skills, SolidWorks software, and a strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure, effectively plan workloads, and delegate tasks.
