Transfer Pricing Manager

The position will help implement and direct World Kinect Corporation's worldwide transfer pricing strategy and structure including annual compliance, documentation and reporting, data analysis and modeling, and audit support and defense. The role will work with the Senior Manager responsible for the Company's global transfer pricing as well as with the broader global tax, finance, and functional teams to ensure our transfer pricing structure is designed, documented, supported, and defended appropriately.

This position will need to extract and analyze data and financial information from TM1, FCCS, and Oracle, amongst other systems and tools to ultimately advise senior management on best methods to achieve department goals. The person in this role should be an expert in Excel and spreadsheet modeling and familiar and fluent in various accounting and financial reporting systems as noted.

The position is guided and governed by WKC's internal transfer pricing policy, various other internal policies and authorization guidelines, US Treasury Regulations and relevant OECD guidance. The person in this position will work closely and communicate with other senior members of the global tax and finance teams who may have ultimate responsibility for policies and decisions. This role is expected to suggest changes, improvements, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and/or review of the Company's global transfer pricing documentation in accordance with OECD guidelines and applicable local country laws and requirements.
  • Data analysis and financial modeling including the extraction and analysis of data from various accounting and financial software systems.
  • Preparation and/or review of reports, analyses, and workpapers to support applicable transfer pricing objectives, benchmarks, and outcomes.
  • Preparation and/or review of intercompany accounting entries.
  • Play a key part in managing the design, implementation, and refinement of various transfer pricing structures and methodologies.
  • Research and analysis regarding OECD and various local country transfer pricing matters and rule changes.
  • Collaborate with the International Tax team and broader global tax team with various audit requests and supporting documentation.

Key requirements:

  • Five (5) to Nine (9) years of combined relevant transfer pricing, tax and/or accounting and financial analysis experience within a public accounting firm or multinational corporation.
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics required; CPA certification and master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Outstanding Excel, spreadsheet, and financial modeling experience and capabilities.
  • Experience in accounting and legal entity reporting for a multinational corporation with operations in numerous worldwide locations.
  • Transfer Pricing knowledge, experience and background for a multinational corporation preferred but not required.
  • Experience with the US reporting requirements of international tax operations..
  • Experience managing or implementing tax process optimization projects and a passion for process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently is required.
