This position will be based in our Modesto, CA headquarters with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.

We are seeking a dynamic and inclusive Business Systems Analyst-Category Development who will play a pivotal role in aligning our information technology solutions with business initiatives. In this role, you will gain an in-depth understanding of systems and solutions related to Category Management, syndicated data, space planning, data management, and sales technology. You will be responsible for formulating and defining systems scope and objectives, conducting business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses. Your expertise will help us optimize our data sources and information systems to meet both current and future business needs.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will provide critical data analysis and reporting to our customers, while also interpreting and disseminating the results effectively. You will play a primary role in educating users on various sales data, syndicated data, and data applications. Your ability to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems will be essential in creating and improving solutions. Additionally, you will develop procedures to solve problems, considering computer equipment capacity, operation time, and desired results.

Your role will involve preparing project-phase plans, conducting meetings and workshops, and coordinating project status reporting to management. You will also be expected to review and define work plans with minimal management oversight. Staying up-to-date with current technology and acquiring new technical knowledge will be key as you complete moderate to complex projects and advise others on current issues and designs.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of sales, category management, or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 6 years of sales, category management or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 1 year of sales experience at a District Manager level, Category Management, or business systems analysis experience to include document preparation.
  • Computer skill requirements include: Intermediate use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and business writing skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Project management experience.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What You Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 2 year of sales experience at a District Manager level, Category Management, business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility to include document preparation.

Compensation:

  • Hiring salary range posted: $36.35- $54.52/ hourly
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
