We are seeking a dynamic and inclusive Business Systems Analyst-Category Development who will play a pivotal role in aligning our information technology solutions with business initiatives. In this role, you will gain an in-depth understanding of systems and solutions related to Category Management, syndicated data, space planning, data management, and sales technology. You will be responsible for formulating and defining systems scope and objectives, conducting business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses. Your expertise will help us optimize our data sources and information systems to meet both current and future business needs. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will provide critical data analysis and reporting to our customers, while also interpreting and disseminating the results effectively. You will play a primary role in educating users on various sales data, syndicated data, and data applications. Your ability to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems will be essential in creating and improving solutions. Additionally, you will develop procedures to solve problems, considering computer equipment capacity, operation time, and desired results. Your role will involve preparing project-phase plans, conducting meetings and workshops, and coordinating project status reporting to management. You will also be expected to review and define work plans with minimal management oversight. Staying up-to-date with current technology and acquiring new technical knowledge will be key as you complete moderate to complex projects and advise others on current issues and designs.
