Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 6:00 pm - flexible between these hours) * Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming *Competitive Pay* - $25.00+ an hour *Expedited Interviews* - Access to additional Resume support and pre-interview questions * * *A day in the role...* * The team will go in and attach diagnosis codes to CPT codes that do not have it attached. * The **CMS-1500 form (also known as the HCFA-1500) is used by non-institutional providers (like physicians) to submit claims for reimbursement, while the UB-04 form (or CMS-1450) is used by institutional facilities (like hospitals) for the same purpose. * The biggest difference is that 1500 Claims are on a transaction level (every interaction / everything a provider does needs to be documented and billed) that's why you need to have diagnosis code tied to every CPT code. * The piece that our team will handle before GO LIVE * For all of these services that are being held (all claims being held) * Our team will be responsible for attaching diagnosis codes to CPTs codes that don't have it attached (this is very administrative- they are just looking at the provider notes and copying them in) * They will go into EPIC and attach diagnosis codes to the CPT codes * So that when we go live they will start billing * This will be completed in the EPIC requisition module * They will also be working in 4medica which is the middle system between the doctors when they placed the order * The provider will enter the order in their system and 4medica interphases with EPIC so our team can get the orders and add the diagnosis codes. There will also be paper requisitions that need to be entered. * Our team will be working on this portion until the Go Live in the summer. Once it goes live in EPIC, claims will be bill out in a phased approach - about 15,000 claims per day. It will take about 3 months to get all claims billed out (900,000 claims roughly) * About 2-3 weeks after the claims get billed out, our team will work on FOLLOW UP for denials * Denial on follow up- **FOCUS ON ELIGIBILITY DENIALS - file correct insurance, etc. * The team will work in EPIC - work ques and also off Excel Spread Sheets * The EPIC module is EPIC Requisition * * *Necessary Skills and Strengths:* AR Follow-Up | AR Specialist | Follow-Up Representative | Insurance Authorizations | ICD-10 Codes | CPT Codes | Medical Insurance Knowledge | Medical Billing Knowledge | Denials Follow-Up *Core Experience:* * AR Follow Up Experience (5+ years) * EPIC * Working Denials * 1500 Claim Forms Experience * AR Follow-Up Experience *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
