Property Tax Associate

Responsibilities

Perform property tax related accounting tasks as assigned

Process property tax bills in compliance with multiple regulatory jurisdictions
• Maintain, organize and research missing tax records
• Responsible for general ledger entries and reconciliations of assigned tax liabilities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices
• Assist with review of personal property tax returns
• Compile audit documentation as needed
• Conform and adhere to internal controls over tax accounting procedures as set forth by upper management
• Communicate frequently with management team, field operations, Regulatory Agencies, vendors, suppliers and other necessary outside organizations in respect to assigned areas

What You Need to Succeed

• Accounting/Finance degree and or related experience
• Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines
• Strong computer, presentation and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
