Position Summary
Spencer Stuart is seeking to recruit a Senior Analyst of People Analytics. This individual will play a central role to provide the People Team, management and other key stakeholders with insightful, provocative analysis to guide the decision making for the talent functions (recruiting, professional development, HR, etc) at Spencer Stuart.
They will work jointly with key internal stakeholders on projects, discussing output and issues, sharing hypotheses, and iterating the analysis. The work is fast paced, technically challenging, and very visible. The individual's responsibilities are expected to cover both project work (ad-hoc and recurring) and operational work (regular reporting and analysis). The project work will be driven by the global Talent priorities and business imperatives as defined by the firm's leadership. The successful individual will need to be a true team player, capable of functioning well in a global and multicultural setting, and able to work together with a wide range of individuals of all levels.
The candidate will be based in the Chicago office.

Major Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership with Functional Leadership: Serve as the primary people analytics partner to key business leaders both within and outside of HR. Use data-driven insights to shape strategic initiatives that improve workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and overall talent outcomes. Work closely with cross-functional partners, including HRBPs, Talent Acquisition and DE&I team colleagues.
- Executive Influence & Reporting: Partner with senior leadership to create comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide visibility into talent trends and outcomes. Present findings and actionable recommendations to influence decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
- Advanced Analytics & Insights: Oversee the design and execution of complex data analyses that address critical talent challenges.
- Team on high priority projects that have the potential to significantly impact the overall talent agenda-provide analysis expertise, structure and solve problems, and communicate solutions.
- Develop knowledge and expertise with Spencer Stuart's internal data (Tableau, Workday, our internal proprietary database and other sources) and identify and build new data sets as required.
- Support forecast and budget process for people functions.
- Summarize global results and prepare management and board presentations
Ideal Experience
- 10+ years of experience in people analytics, HR strategy, or a related field with a focus on data-driven decision-making and strategic influence.
- Prior experience with Tableau or another business intelligence tool
- Experience with Workday
- Proven ability to work effectively in a high performance environment in a role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm.
- BA. or B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another analytical degree; MBA a plus
- Professional services experience a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $120-140k per year. The actual base compensation offered within this range will be dependent on the individual's skills, experiences, and qualifications. This position will be eligible to participate in our annual discretionary bonus program.
