JOB SUMMARY

This Financial Anlyast, Business Planning role is responsible for analyzing business operations and recommending solutions to align individual business functions with organizational goals. This role requires understanding of the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and recommends solutions to improve general business processes and planning. This position can collaborate with one or several business units or functions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide business financial analysis and support for business leaders to include:
  • Compile and analyze large volumes of data in consolidated schedules.
  • Perform analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Perform invoice reconciliations on behalf of business partners in Ariba.
  • Act as liaison for business partners with external vendors and internal Accounts Payable.
  • Compile and reconcile invoice uploads for Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare and submit month-end journal entries for reclasses and accruals.
  • Assist with budget forecast models using Microsoft Excel, Smartview/Hyperion applications as needed.
  • Analyze month-over-month and budget to actual expense variances and provide written explanations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to prepare forecasts and budgets.
  • Work within SAP and other accounting systems to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
  • Compile, analyze, interpret, and present data related to current and future operations.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of business planning, financial analysis or related experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment and handle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Able to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Thorough knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, Ariba P2P and Smartview/Hyperion preferred but not required.

The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
