Business Development Manager South-Central (Remote) | Utilimaster | Remote

Overview:

As the Business Development Manager (Remote) for Utilimaster a The Shyft Group brand you will be responsible for driving new business in the South-Central region (TX, LA, OK, AR, MO, TX) with a focus on OEM Chassis Dealers, Tier 2 Leasing and Rental customers.

In this role, you will spend approximately 70% of your time on new business development, and 30% of your time nurturing your existing customer base. This role requires up to 50% travel (with an average of 25% to 30%).

Core Responsibilities:

• Generate & qualify new leads.
• Develop & execute market penetration strategies.
• Build & manage a robust sales pipeline.
• Negotiate & close complex leasing deals.
• Represent us at industry events & prospect new clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree plus 4+ years new business development experience (or) High School diploma plus 8+ years new business development experience
• Proven lead generation & closing skills.
• Strong prospecting & networking abilities.
• Hunter mentality with a drive to exceed targets.
• Proficient in MS Office & ability to travel up to 50%.
