Are you ready to take the wheel and drive success at our wholesale auto auction? We're looking for a dynamic leader to manage all operations, from vehicle entry to vendor coordination. This is your chance to steer the team towards excellence and ensure the auction runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Mastermind: Oversee all aspects of lot operations, vehicle entry, maintenance, security, and vendor management.
  • Efficiency Expert: Develop and execute business plans, analyze operational expenses, and implement procedures to boost efficiency.
  • Team Leader: Recruit, select, and orient leaders, providing educational opportunities and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Customer Champion: Maintain positive customer relations and ensure out-of-town customers have transportation to and from the auction.
  • Safety Advocate: Demonstrate commitment to safety by following all procedures and supporting safety activities.
  • Strategic Partner: Collaborate with market-level support teams to ensure effective operational processes and high-quality customer service.


Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in management or leadership role
  • Requires strong knowledge of Manheim auctions general operations
  • Excellent skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization


Preferred

  • Degree in related discipline strongly desired


USD 90,100.00 - 150,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
