Staffmark is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Columbus, OH, to hire an Electronic Assembly Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay: $17-$19 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible schedule offered between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Friday)

Job Summary

The Electronic Assembly Technician will work at various stations, performing a range of tasks, including assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, gluing sub-assemblies, and mechanical assembly of force measurement products. You will collaborate closely with production management to ensure the timely and high-quality manufacturing of products.

Essential Functions



  • Gluing sub-assemblies using 2-part epoxy
  • General mechanical assembly with hand, powered, or pneumatic tools
  • Integrating PCBs and other electronic components into Bertec products
  • Soldering wiring to PCB boards
  • Assembling wire harnesses, cables, and electronic sub-assemblies
  • Calibrating and testing products
  • Lifting and physically handling components (up to 70 lbs, or 140 lbs with team assistance)

Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
  • 1+ years of experience with electronics assembly, soldering, and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to maintain accurate product calibration and testing records
