Commercial Maintenance Technician - Full-Time Opportunity

Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a wide range of skills? We are seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Raleigh, NC, and deliver exceptional service. In this role, you will travel to various commercial properties, performing maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds. With a company van and tools provided, you will use your skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more to maintain the properties and keep them in optimal condition.

Shift Details:

Competitive Pay: $26-$30 per hour | Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs based on work orders, following company procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Complete minor plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures (toilets, faucets, etc.).
• Conduct routine painting and carpentry work to maintain the client's facilities in top condition, including drywall repairs and painting touch-ups.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance, including the repair or replacement of fixtures, wall switches, outlets, and light bulbs (within state law limits).
• Conduct service and asset inspections as needed.
• Utilize mobile technology (tablet, smartphone) to access work orders, submit service reports, and track progress.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Obtain necessary materials and supplies for maintenance tasks.
• Provide estimates for larger projects or services required at the client site.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required safety and compliance training.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; certifications in trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.) or relevant experience preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or equivalent training.
• Prior experience in landscaping, janitorial, or construction-related services is a plus.
• Must possess valid certifications, licenses, and a clean driver's license.
• Strong ability to read and understand written instructions, including safety policies and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and the ability to use handheld devices and business systems.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within designated timelines.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift/carry items up to 75 pounds; frequent climbing, balancing, and reaching required; and specific vision abilities required for tasks like reading manuals and performing inspections.
