Responsibilities

Crew Sign On Bonus: Each Crew member will get $1,000 at the end of the first week and another $1,000 at the end of 90 days.

    Allan Myers Water Group is seeking experienced Process Mechanical Crew to support our new and upgraded water infrastructure projects across the PA & NJ. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems in water treatment plants, drinking water facilities, and wastewater treatment plants.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install and assemble pumps, piping, valves, and mechanical equipment in water and wastewater treatment plants.
    • Perform rigging, setting, and aligning of process equipment and systems.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs to ensure proper installation.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical system issues.
    • Work with steel, treaded pipe, ductile iron, and stainless-steel piping.
    • Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and rigging hardware safely.
    • Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company procedures.
    • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other crew members to meet project deadlines.


Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial process mechanical work, preferably in water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly, welding, and pipefitting is a plus.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of pump systems, valves, actuators, and treatment plant equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Certification in Access Lifts and scaffolding erection are a plus.
  • Ability to travel to project sites throughout the mid-Atlantic region - PA, NJ, DE & MD.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 hour required.
  • Valid driver's license required
