Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position Duties and Tasks: As a member of the Power and Analog Hardware group, you will be involved in all program phases, including: * Electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.), design, integration and verification/qualification of electrical hardware, equipment and systems You will primarily support the Maritime & Strategic Systems business area developing and deploying Weapon System Control and Launch system hardware, with opportunities to work across multiple GDMS sites and programs. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Clear understanding of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories with a focus on Power and EMI/EMC concepts and theories, including radiated emissions/susceptibility, conducted emissions/susceptibility, noise propagation and mitigation techniques. * Clear understanding of electrical engineering processes and engineering design tools (MATLAB / Simulink, LTspice) * Basic knowledge of power conversion (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC & various topologies), power conditioning, filtering, distribution, protection, control & monitoring techniques Target salary range: USD $91,781.00/Yr. - USD $101,820.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
