We are searching for a talented Advanced Practitioner for Endocrinology.

Hours: 40 hrs 5-8 hr days or 4-10 hour days

Shift: Day - no weekend, holiday or call.

Location: Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Medical Director for Endocrinology or the Physician-in-Chief for Medicine, perform diversified duties in being responsible for the care of patients with diabetic disease, assigned under direction of individual attending Physicians under the rules and regulations of Massachusetts governing Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner practice. Provide a variety of outpatient care and services under the supervision of individually assigned Physician as part of daily activities.
  • Provide evaluation, treatment and care for patients in the hospital and coordinate effective transitions of care.


Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required. Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
  • Over three years up to and including five years' experience is required.
