Description and Requirements
The Executive Director of Global Product Services will lead a global team responsible for developing portfolio strategy, managing the product portfolio, and driving the creation of innovative service products. This role will cover support services, protection services, deployment services, and configuration services across the Intelligent Device Group (IDG) portfolio, which includes laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones, as well as the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) encompassing servers and storage solutions.
This executive will play a critical role in enhancing service capabilities, ensuring alignment with market demands, and delivering scalable and differentiated solutions. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, marketing, and regional delivery organizations, to ensure the portfolio meets global standards while adapting to regional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Portfolio Management:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for support, protection, deployment, and configuration services.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and development to market launch and ongoing management.
  • Identify emerging market trends and customer needs to inform product development and positioning.
  • Align product offerings with corporate goals, ensuring consistent growth and innovation.

Service Innovation and Development:
  • Lead the creation of new service products and enhancements, ensuring differentiation in the market.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure service feasibility and operational excellence.
  • Integrate customer feedback and market insights to drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Partner with Intelligent Device Group and Infrastructure Solutions Group leadership to ensure alignment and cross-business collaboration.
  • Work closely with regional sales and delivery teams to adapt offerings to meet local market demands.
  • Establish strong relationships with key partners, including third-party service providers and technology partners.

Financial and Operational Management:
  • Manage the financial performance of the product portfolio, including revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop pricing strategies and business models that support growth and competitive positioning.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure operational excellence across global service delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in product management, service development, or a related field, with a focus on technology service offerings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience managing global teams and complex product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of support, deployment, and configuration services for devices and infrastructure.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, financial acumen, and market analysis skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence at all levels of the organization.
This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. within the Eastern or Central time zones. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection!
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $200,000 to $275,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
