*Job Description:*
We are looking for an seasoned AV Tech with experience configuring and installing racks, camera's, microphones, and TV's to a central system who are ready to lead a crew of AV Techs. Candidates will need experience installing Crestron and/or Extron equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Q-sys and mic wire. The lead tech will be managing technicians working side by side with the installation. The lead tech will be doing the testing and will be responsible for making sure all cabling is neat and hidden from site as much as possible. The lead tech must have their own basic hand tools, know how to use a multimeter and trace connection issues. Must be professional and have the ability to interface with enterprise customers. * Full-time, permanent role with a technology integration firm established in Columbus, Ohio, in 1993 * Full benefits including paid holidays, paid training, PTO, FSA, 401k, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance * Company van provided *Responsibilities: * * Project Leadership * Installation Experience * Cabling and Termination * Equipment integration * Product Knowledge * Documentation * Quality Assurance: *Requirements:* * 3 years minimum field service experience * Proof of United States citizenship * A high school diploma or equivalent * Ability to drive a full-size van and maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record * Ability to pass a drug test * Ability to drive a full-size van and maintain a clean driving record * Ability to lift large items up to 70 pounds and lift 50 pounds overhead * Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations is usually within a two-hour radius of Columbus * Must have reliable transportation to work * Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time * Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding * Must be able to work in high places, as well as small, cramped places * Must be able to work in hot humid places, as well as cold places * Availability for full-time work with typical work hours on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Days and hours will occasionally adjust to meet client needs *Preferences:* * Installation, programming, and commissioning of Crestron controls and DSP audio systems are a plus * CTS or CTS-I certification is a plus * Active amateur radio license is a plus *Top Skills:* Audiovisual, AV, Installation, Service, Video Conferencing, Troubleshooting, Crestron, Q-sys, Dante, Cat6, Audio *Experience Level:* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
