Administrative PCT Requirements:
High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent CCHT Active and in good standing 1 year in a related administrative position in a medical setting Personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office) and minimum 60 wpm typing speed Ability to work independently and manage a busy desk while interacting with patients Ability to travel to multiple clinics as needed within a 10 mile radius
Administrative PCT Role:
Administrative Operations Support. Ensure timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices, and purchase orders. Assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments. Direct Patient Care. Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment within groups of up to 4 patients. Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup Community. Building long-term relationships with your patients who are suffering from end-stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times/week. You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney dialysis-related topics. Cross functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of an RN.
