Job Summary
The IT Solutions Architect, Finance Applications plays a critical role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions to meet our business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for project execution phase of application development life cycle.
- Design and implement business solutions in close collaboration with the business users.
- Convert logical designs into functional and configuration design specifications (system configuration, program enhancements, and testing requirements for the design).
- Accountable for process end to end across applications landscape, understanding the business inputs and process outcomes.
- Serve as onboarding and offboarding contact to solutions partners on our landscape.
- Responsible for knowledge transfer of new functionality and capabilities to support groups.
- Design end-to-end architecture solutions that align with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and communicate detailed architectural diagrams and technical documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies that enhance solution performance and maintainability.
- Provide guidance to development teams throughout the implementation process, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
- Analyze existing systems to identify areas of improvement and propose modernization strategies.
- Ensure security, scalability, and compliance considerations are integrated into all solutions.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve challenges and ensure project success.
Education and Experience Profile
- A minimum of 8 years of designing and implementing business applications, specifically SAP ERP, preferably S/4HANA.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance functional area - Record to Report ("RTR"), finance and controlling.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in all phases of multiple ECC and S/4HANA full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Experience leading large scale implementations and programs.
- Experience with business process engineering, documenting, and presenting.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of software architecture and design.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database systems, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Knowledge of CPG industry and business framework desired.
Work Environment
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment. This position is hybrid with in-office days of Tuesday-Thursday.
- Travel up to 15% may be required for business activities.
