General Summary of Position MedStar Health is looking for a Clinical Support Manager of Operations to join our team! The Clinical support manager of the operations department will be Responsible for coordination and direction of personnel to include some or all of the following: clerical personnel, central patient transportation personnel, technical personnel engaged in performing imaging procedures, cardiac Cath lab personnel and other support service personnel. Evaluates accuracy of radiographic images and demonstrates proper technique and procedures. Provides clinical oversight and administrative management. Assists in the operational maintenance of the Radiology Information System (RIS) and the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS). Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of information contained in Med Connect and the RIS and the PACS. Trains designees to assist in data backup and recovery during and after system outages. Performs audits to ensure that data is routed in a timely manner and assesses the integrity of that data. Promotes a culture of excellence to ensure that Imaging and other clinical support areas provide exceptional service. Generate management reports from the HIS, RIS and other systems as needed. Incorporates all of the duties of a supervisor in the absence of such position. Establishes technical standards and objectives for area of service, (ex., Imaging) and coordinates to provide maximum levels of service to patients and staff. Primary Duties: * Manage the image archive, ensuring quality and proper formatting for film, CD, and other storage media. * Monitor supply and equipment needs, contribute to budget planning, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. * Hire, train, and evaluate staff while establishing work schedules to maintain 24/7 operational coverage. * Oversee quality assurance efforts, facilitate communication between physicians and technical staff, and recommend operational improvements. * Stay up to date on industry advancements, participate in equipment evaluations, and train staff on imaging systems and related technologies Qualifications: * Bachelors equivalent combination of experience (required) * 1-2 years Experience in all facets of diagnostic imaging. (can be any Imaging License) * 2 years of related supervisory and management experience (required) This position has a hiring range of $48.36 - $83.19 |
