Position Purpose |
Manages and delivers programs, events, and marketing activities for the Tuck Center for Digital Strategies according to Tuck's mission, strategy, and institutional priorities. |
Description |
The program manager serves as the operational backbone of the Center, orchestrating high-impact programs and events including the
MBA Fellows,
MBA Associates, Tech 101 Learning Series, and executive speaker engagements. This role is instrumental in cross-campus collaboration, particularly in producing the prestigious annual Dartmouth AI Conference. - Superior organizational aptitude is essential, including demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and maintain operational excellence in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in strategic marketing communications, event management, and proficiency with professional marketing tools, social media platforms, and website management systems.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills with proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives independently while meeting programmatic objectives and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
- Track record of anticipating needs and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Strong collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively in team settings to achieve results.
- Growth-oriented approach to professional development, including the ability to learn from challenges and setbacks.
- Flexibility to work evening and occasional weekend hours as well as domestic travel in support of programs.
- Innovative thinking and ability to implement improvements across all areas of responsibility.
- Knowledge of technology, digital strategy, and/or business gained through relevant education, personal experience, or professional background a plus. Minimum of an undergraduate degree combined with relevant work experience and enthusiasm for technology and business strategy.

Key Accountabilities

1.
Program and Event Management (55%):
Planning (20%): With guidance from center executive director, strategically develops and implements comprehensive plans for center events and programs; creates detailed project plans for review and approval, including timelines, budgets, marketing strategies, logistics coordination, materials production, and center calendars. Delivery and Evaluation (25%): Expertly manages all aspects of program execution including registration systems, evaluation processes, venue coordination, and production of materials. Provides real-time problem-solving during events, effectively supervises support staff (AV technicians, facilities, etc.), and ensures seamless participant experiences. Marketing (10%): Crafts compelling promotional and educational content across print, digital, and social media channels. Collaborates strategically with fellow centers, Tuck's Office of Communications, and other Tuck and Dartmouth departments to ensure consistent messaging and maximum visibility.
