We're passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We're on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The opportunity

Are you a systems thinker who is excited about GenAI and new technology? The Firefly design team is seeking a designer to help us build the best tools for creativity. We are a collaborative team that is passionate about building approachable tools for creativity. We believe GenAI should accelerate creativity and not replace it; this role will play a key role in the future.

What you'll do

As a member of our team, you will be an integral part of designing comprehensive experiences to transform the future creative work; beyond the traditional set of Adobe tools. Because what we do involves many partner teams, we need someone who is motivated by collaboration and driving progress toward the best solutions.

In this role, you will:
  • Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts while using and expanding a design system.

  • Define and communicate clear design solutions in a relatable, inspirational, and simple way to understand.

  • Find opportunities to create simplicity out of complexity. Make a plan and take action in ambiguous circumstances.

  • Explore design ideas via sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Use feedback and research to refine and iterate toward product objectives. Pair strong communication skills with a user-centered perspective in order to influence and persuade.

  • Dig in with prototypers, engineers and researchers to understand the capabilities of new and developing technologies to match user needs.

What you need to succeed
  • An understanding of creator tools and experience using them.

  • College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or related design field

  • Mastery of Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools such as Keynote or sketch.

  • Enthusiasm to work closely and iteratively with engineering teams to bring the vision to life

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and storytelling skills

  • Willingness and ability to be a part of the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team

  • An appreciation for design craft and the ability to blend that with a strong intuition for business

  • A real passion for collaborating across many subject areas and teams

How to apply

To be considered for this role, please submit your resume and portfolio. We'd especially like to see strong systems thinking, elegant design solutions, how you collaborate across teams, including engineering & product, and a proven ability to adapt your designs based on what you learn.
