Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the clients expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

LOB Specific Summary:

Perform project management responsibilities for XVA Tech. Generate enterprise required reports and provide update status on all aspects of the program. Complete all change management documentation requirements, along with internal processes and roadmaps. This role will also liaise with senior management and LOB so will need someone who can communicate and articulate all accomplishments, risks and issues. Responsibilities also include managing the financials of the xVA team, including resource planning, budget planning (with technology and business partners), hiring plans and liaising with program owners on budget allocations and delivery plans.

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the clients expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ plus years of program or project management experience in a financial institution
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Some understanding of financial markets experience
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to organize self and others
  • Knowledge of MS Office Apps (i.e. Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Experience with financials, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, etc.
  • MUST HAVE: Ideal candidate is highly organized and understands technology, financials and project management.

  • Plans, organizes, monitors and controls technology requirements and delivery for projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion
  • Effectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed
  • Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Establish project tasks and timelines and effectively manage them
  • Define and evaluate problems and plans effective solutions
  • Manage and report potential operational risk mitigation strategies for the technology elements
