What We Do Responsible for the administration of variable pay incentive plan calculations for a Division in compliance with Company processes and procedures. Conducts and leads internal audits, SOX audits, due diligence, fraud investigations and special projects.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare monthly incentive calculations for all incentive plans
  • Perform monthly incentive account reconciliations
  • Develop incentive and commission projections during annual budget process
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, develop models for analysis of various plan design options, and calculate and analyze incentive payout projections
  • Plan and model commission expense in collaboration with Sales executives, Finance and Corporate Compensation
  • Support implementation and ongoing administration of incentive plans and provide guidance and analysis to corporate and sales channel leadership
  • Forecast quarterly and annual commission/bonus program expense
  • Conduct regular audits for plan compliance
  • Perform general ad hoc analysis of financial and operational data for trends and variances and present findings to finance management
  • Uses historical trend information along with changes in market and business environments to create projections used for the budgeting or forecasting processes

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used

  • Finance & Accounting - experience in finance, economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, financial statements, and valuation, analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Mathematics & Analytics - ability to understand, manipulate and solve problems using mathematics on large data sets
  • Computer Skills - advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Problem Solving - identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Organizing, Planning & Prioritizing Work - developing specific goals and execution plans for the completion of tasks
  • Good Communication Skills - both written and verbal
  • Critical Thinking - use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Judgment & Decision Making - consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose most appropriate course of action
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the business

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Range of Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a financial/accounting capacity
