What is the opportunity?

  • The role is for a Senior Technical Business Analyst (Associate Director level) within Client, Banking, Digital, and Data Technology (CBDDT) Team within RBC Capital Markets
  • The individual in this role will work closely with members of Securitization Financing team (part of Global Markets) located in Wilmington, Delaware.
  • This is a hybrid role, and the expectation is that this individual will be able to come into the Wilmington office on weekly basis (2-4 days per week).
  • The individual will be an integral partner to Securitization Financing team, and act as a bridge between the business and technology teams.
  • The individual will enable Securitization Finance team with data and analytics support, including report & dashboard development, data analysis, requirements modelling etc.
  • The individual will work with Development team within CBDDT to deliver on business requirements, including detailed requirements documentation using Jira & Confluence, UX designs for new product features (in partnership with UX Design team), QA & UAT Support, training etc.

What will you do?

  • Drive stakeholder engagement, business requirements elicitation, product design, and product delivery
  • Enable the business team with data and analytics support, including report & dashboard development, data analysis, requirements modelling etc.
  • Work with Development team to deliver on business requirements, including detailed requirements documentation using Jira & Confluence, UX designs for new product features (in partnership with UX Design team)
  • Work with QA team on QA testing
  • Work with business users on UAT testing

What do you need to succeed?

Must have's:

  • Minimum 10 years of technology experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Product Manager, working in Capital Markets institutions, preferably within Asset Backed Securitization domain, focused on business and data analysis, analytics, and product management.
  • Proven experience of interacting with senior business stakeholders on a regular basis in eliciting requirements and describing solutions
  • Excellent SQL querying skills with ability to independently extract data from SQL databases for ad-hoc data analysis
  • Expert level skills in common data analytics tools such as Excel, Python/Jupiter Notebook, Tableau, as well as ETL tools such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including Communication (written and verbal) and Relationship Building
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Finance or related major

Nice to have:

  • Strong knowledge of Asset Backed Securitization business

The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000-$190,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
